Diploma in Theology and Ministry – Fall 2017


Queen’s College is launching a Diploma in Theology and Ministry Program at several locations, starting in September 2017: Western Newfoundland, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Gander, and St. John’s. The Diploma program is offered on weekends for persons interested in learning more about scripture, Christian belief, personal spiritual development and ministry.  This program is designed to engage both heart and mind in the context of classroom interaction, community, and prayer.  The Diploma program is completed over three years, participants attend classes Friday evenings (7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.) and Saturdays (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) on four weekends for two semesters each year. Format includes presentations, reflections and discussion.  Evaluation is based on attendance and participation – no exams or assignments. The Diploma program is open to students of all denominations. Students with the Diploma are granted advance standing of four credits in the Associate in Theology program. Tuition for the Program is $200.00 per semester.
